It’s always the story. She doesn’t cook. And then I ask why the hell did you marry her then? Of course we are going to have the women who say, “ that’s what you get you should have married someone like me.” Well I for one am a DAMN GOOD cook, I don’t like cleaning but I get it done. But, I also suffer from IWS…I’m an Independent Woman Syndrome (we’ll go over this later). That does not constitute for marriage material. In fact getting married wasn’t on the agenda.
I have come to find the woman who learn to cook later in life usually do it specifically for the people in their lives for example their husband and kids. You know them the “Stove Top Moms” they do just enough to get you fed and off to bed. And you can’t ask them to cook anything outside of the family fav’s.
To the men who complain to other women that their better half doesn’t cook, it’s like a pick up line. Ladies don’t fall for it. Her not cooking isn’t making him file for divorce so she must be doing something right if you still married.
Not being able to cook doesn’t make you any less of a woman. Nor does it make you any less of a catch. In due time your lifestyle will change and you will adapt to your surroundings. So let’s hope it includes home cooked meals and not fast food. Either way if you plan to walk down the isle it will happen.

Is it so strange that someone who TRIES to cook should be able to? I was just served what can only be described as roadkill. It was meant to be a pasta dish.
I have no problems with people not knowing how to cook, they have just not been taught or bothered to learn (male or female) but for the love of god; if you can’t cook don’t try…eating food that tastes vile is no worse than eating your own bile.
On the point of women being expected to cook? Hell yes they should be able to! Just as the man should too!
If create an issue that some women can’t cook and that the man isn’t happy then both need to grow up andbe real people. None of this ‘he/she’ crap. Regardless of how many holes, or poles you have you should be able to make basic foods…
Maybe quit the bra burning, realise that being able to cook is a basic human need and if you can’t cook learn to, for both men and women.
