The man in the mirror…

Michael Jackson couldn’t have said it better himself. Asking the man in the mirror. This song screams to me, especially at this time of the year. Every year we make plans and some of us make progress and others fail. All the while blaming everyone for our own misfortunes. Of course we have those who believe that magically one day someone is going to walk up and hand them a million dollars and life will be sweet. Then we have those who believe that God is going to do all the work for them. I am a realist and if I make a plan I am the one who has to make it happen. Silently I push myself to the next level even if its a small step, it’s a step forward. I have made the conscious decision to succeed.  And if I fail it’s my fault. At least I had a plan. When you start looking around at who to blame for things going wrong. Make sure you are standing in the mirror. The first step to fixing your problems is fixing YOU. Know one is perfect. We are only here to strive to be better tomorrow than we are today. TRUST! I’m working on ME… RIP Michael
