Troy Davis…Guilty Until Proven Innocent

Only in America can guilty people go free while innocent lives are lost. If you have turned on your TV at all this week you have heard the name Troy Davis. A man who was sentenced to death row twenty two years ago. Alledegedly the suspect in the shooting death of police officer Mark MacPhail. At the time of trial several witnesses retracted there statements, sayin they were coheresed and threatened by police. Yet, the state proceeded with trial and found Troy Davis guilty. In July 2007, September 2008, and October 2008, execution dates were scheduled, but each execution was stayed shortly before it was to take place. There were many marches before today and several petitons. All that went nowhere.   So what happens now only moments away from the moment of truth. Does he die or will he live to fight another day.   I will give my opinion on this contraversal topic once a verdict is in if the US Supreme Court will issue a stay of execution. At this moment he has been issued a repreive.
